Job summary

BRUSH Group is seeking a senior technical leader to guide the Engineering team in delivering high‑quality electrical and MEP design across multiple projects. The role entails hands‑on technical leadership, staff mentoring, and project delivery from briefing through handover.

You will work closely with BIM and Sustainability teams to ensure efficient, high‑standard outputs and support business growth with client engagement and strategic project delivery.

Qualifications

• Honours/Master's degree in Engineering, or HNC with relevant experience.
• Experience in Engineer Consultancy (or similar role).
• Proven track record leading complex projects.
• Experience managing teams and developing staff.
• Experience across a variety of project sectors.
• Ability to perform electrical calculations with Elec OM and Dialux.
• Knowledge of solar PV and energy storage.
• Understanding of building automation, smart building tech, and IoT integration.

• Develop technical capabilities within the team through training and knowledge sharing.
• Mentor a team of Engineers, Technicians, Graduates, and Trainees.
• Lead and manage MEP design and delivery across multiple projects.

What's the role?

Working closely with the associate, to provide leadership and management of the Engineering team. Provide technical expertise and direction for complex (and non-complex) engineering projects leading on delivery from briefing through to handover. This senior role combines hands-on technical leadership, management of Engineering staff, as well as a requirement to support the learning and development of junior staff across the business. The role will require to work collaboratively with our BIM and Rybka-S teams to ensure our Engineering, BIM, and Sustainability services are delivered efficiently and to a consistently high standard with quality built-in to our outputs. The role includes project delivery, client engagement, team leadership, and supporting strategic growth of the consultancy.

Key Responsibilities
