Job Role: Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Salary: £45,000-£65,000 + Competitive package (depending on level of experience)

Location: Basingstoke, Dewsbury or Warrington (hybrid working available)

Our client is a leading contractor involved in the design, build, and maintenance of water treatment projects throughout the UK. They have an established in-house design team and are looking for an ambitious Electrical Design Engineer (Senior / Principal grade) to join them on a permanent basis. The work will be varied and involves projects from multiple frameworks for AMP8.

About the Role:

1. Meeting with clients to discuss specific intervention requirements
2. Carrying out intrusive Electrical and ICA site surveys to identify the most appropriate solutions to complex problems
3. Planning and implementing projects
4. Line management and development of assigned EICA staff
5. Leading the development of EICA design deliverables by you and your team
6. Providing technical guidance on EICA matters to the wider project team

About You:

1. Degree/HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering
2. Chartered or near Chartership
3. Design experience on UK Water and Wastewater projects
4. Knowledge of British and European design standards
5. Minimum of 5 years proven track record as an Electrical Engineer in both a design office and construction environment
