Job summary

IES Utilities Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Distribution Contract Manager to oversee multiple LV–33kV distribution contracts across the UK. The role combines operational leadership with strong commercial oversight, ensuring safe, profitable contract delivery.

The ideal candidate will manage NEC3/NEC4 processes, engage with major DNOs, and drive improvements in performance and margin while coordinating with clients and internal teams in a dynamic power division environment.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering LV and HV electrical infrastructure projects up to 33kV.
• Experience with DNOs, IDNOs, ICPs or principal contractors in the power sector.
• Experience managing multiple contracts/frameworks and portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery and commercial management of distribution contracts across the UK.
• Lead project teams to meet safety, quality and programme targets.
• Manage NEC3/NEC4 administration and change events.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders through regular performance reviews.
• Identify opportunities for contract growth and improved margins.
