We are seeking a Senior Electrical Designer for a 12+ month contract based in Leatherhead.

Job Overview

The Senior Electrical Engineer will have demonstrable experience in designing utility power distribution systems, including grid tie-ins and sourcing from independent power producers for alternate power feeds to existing gas fields and production facilities.

Skills / Experience

• Experience working on concept studies and FEED phases of projects.
• Design of overhead lines and distribution at 132kV, 33kV, and 11kV.
• GIS and other HV/MV/LV substation design.
• Experience with captive generation expansion including GTGs.
• Selection and configuration of diesel gensets for power generation.
• Experience with electric submersible pumps for wellheads.
• Development of deliverable templates and independent guidance of team on deliverable preparation and development.
• Providing input to project schedules and manpower planning.
• Ability to lead teams independently and manage man-hour budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
