Job summary

MWH Treatment Limited in the Thames Region is recruiting a Principal Electrical Design Engineer to provide technical leadership across water and wastewater projects in the UK. You will lead the design and delivery of complex electrical solutions, influence technical strategy, support major bids and mentor engineers.

The role requires degree-qualified electrical engineering, significant UK water industry experience, and strong knowledge of LV/HV power distribution, control systems and EICA.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering (BEng/MEng).
• Significant experience delivering electrical design solutions in UK water and wastewater.
• Strong understanding of LV/HV power distribution and control systems.
• Chartered Engineer status is desirable and beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate delivery of complex electrical designs in water/wastewater.
• Provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary project teams.
• Develop practical, compliant and cost-effective engineering solutions.
• Produce and review electrical calculations, specs, reports and drawings.
• Support major bids and contribute to project delivery strategies.
• Mentor engineers and promote safety, quality and governance.
