Job summary

MWH Treatment Limited is seeking a Principal Electrical Design Engineer to lead the design and delivery of complex electrical solutions for critical water and wastewater infrastructure in the UK. You will influence technical strategy, support major bids and mentor engineers across a portfolio of projects.

The role requires substantial experience in the water sector, LV/HV distribution, and a strong track record of delivering safe, compliant and cost-effective designs.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (BEng/MEng or equivalent).
• Significant UK water/wastewater electrical design experience.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering design projects.
• Knowledge of LV/HV power distribution and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of complex electrical engineering designs for water/wastewater projects.
• Provide technical leadership to multidisciplinary project teams.
• Develop practical, innovative engineering solutions balancing cost, risk and performance.
• Review and approve electrical calculations, specs and design documentation.
• Support major bids and contribute to project delivery strategies.
