Build Recruitment Limited in Cambridge is seeking a Senior Associate Electrical Design Engineer to join the Building Services team. You will lead complex building services projects, deliver high-quality designs and develop strong client relationships.

With Chartered status or working towards, you will mentor colleagues, coordinate with consultants and contractors, and play a key role in business development and project planning.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership.
• Significant experience in electrical building services design.
• Strong knowledge of British Standards and Building Regulations.
• Experience in client management, team leadership and mentoring.
• Experience in a consultancy environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical building services design across commercial, education, healthcare, residential and public sector projects.
• Provide technical leadership and oversee design quality and project delivery.
• Build and develop strong client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate with clients, contractors and consultants.
• Mentor and develop engineers, graduates and future talent.
• Support fee proposals, project planning and commercial performance.
