Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd. in London is seeking an Senior, Principal, or Associate Electrical Design Engineer to join its building services team. You will work on high-profile residential, commercial, and specialist projects, leading electrical design and coordinating with external teams.

The role offers real project ownership, mentoring of junior engineers, client-facing responsibilities, and a clear progression path within a collaborative, zero-carbon design environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• Chartered (or working towards) with CIBSE or IET.
• Proven project design leadership experience in building services.
• Strong knowledge of low voltage, renewables, and modern coding standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design across multiple projects from concept to completion.
• Carry out load calculations and LV infrastructure sizing for renewable energy schemes.
• Produce design packages, stage reports, BIM coordination specs and schedules.
• Manage project fees, resources, and project profitability.
• Act as primary client-facing contact and liaise with external teams.
• Visit sites to verify design intent and construction standards.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers.
• For Associate level, line management and team coordination responsibilities.
• Support business development and maintain client relationships for sustainability trends.
