Zusammenfassung

Pertemps Tm is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer in Oxford to lead electrical building services projects from feasibility through to delivery. The role offers hybrid working and a collaborative team across the UK.

You will mentor junior engineers, manage projects, carry out surveys, produce designs and reports, and ensure QA across heritage, education, healthcare, and commercial sectors. A degree and 3–5 years' experience are required.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
• 3–5 years' experience in electrical building services design.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers.
• Experience delivering projects across multiple sectors.
• Strong knowledge of electrical building services design.
• Proficiency with electrical design software.
• AutoCAD experience.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Strong organisational and project management abilities.
• Full UK driving licence and access to transport.

Aufgaben

• Lead the design and delivery of electrical building services projects.
• Carry out project surveys and feasibility studies.
• Produce electrical designs, calculations, specifications and reports.
• Manage projects from concept to handover.
• Undertake site inspections and supervise electrical services installations.
• Provide contract administration support.
• Manage project programmes and milestones.
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians.
• Ensure QA and standards compliance.
• Collaborate with clients, architects and design teams.
• Assist with fee proposals, project finances and business development.
• Coordinate with multiple office locations.
