Job summary

Emeya Recruitment Limited is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer - Building Services for a remote working role. You will lead and deliver innovative electrical designs for building services across a diverse project portfolio, with travel to London about twice per month for design meetings and client collaboration.

The role emphasizes independence in a remote environment, adherence to BS 7671 and Building Regulations, and mentorship of junior engineers within multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Electrical Design and Building Services.
• Senior role experience within the building services sector.
• Experience on large-scale residential developments is required.
• Strong knowledge of BS 7671, British Standards and current Building Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of Electrical Design, Building Services projects from concept to construction.
• Produce and review detailed electrical design calculations, reports and drawings.
• Lead coordination with internal and external project teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Attend design and client meetings in London approximately twice per month.
• Ensure deliverables meet programme, budget and quality expectations.
