Job summary

Ford & Stanley Talent Services Group Ltd in Chapel-en-le-Frith is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to lead electrical design for customer projects and future product development. The role offers autonomy and hybrid working, with occasional site visits and a focus on design-for-manufacture and standardised components.

You will develop electrical schematics, panels and control systems, supporting testing and validation while collaborating with manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience designing electrical schematics and panels.
• Experience with industrial machinery and automation.

Responsibilities

• Produce electrical schematics, layouts and technical documentation.
• Design electrical control systems for industrial machinery and equipment.
• Develop and improve standardised electrical components and solutions.
• Design electrical panels and associated control systems.
• Support PLC-based systems and hardware integration.
• Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable.
• Support testing, troubleshooting and technical validation activities.
• Participate in product development and continuous improvement projects.
