Job summary

DFS Composites is expanding its automation and electrical design capabilities to develop advanced systems for wind energy, aerospace, and composites manufacturing. The role involves delivering electrical systems from concept through installation within a multidisciplinary team, including control, mechanical, and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, automation or robotics engineering.
• Proven track record of electrical installations from concept to final installation in automation & industrial sectors.
• Experience using E-Plan Electric, Pro Panel and Harness ProD.
• Experience designing complex control panels with automation and safety controls up to 1000V.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical design calculations, drawings, and specifications to IEC/BS/IEEE standards.
• Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts using CAD tools.
• Develop interconnecting looms and circuitry as part of the system design.
• Specify components and routing within mechanical interfaces and CE/UL documentation.
• Provide technical guidance across all project phases from concept to commissioning.
• Review plans for compliance with electrical design standards and safety.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems.
• Coach junior engineers and align with ISO/AS standards and tooling.
