Automated Industrial Robotics seeks a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to deliver innovative electrical designs for automated solutions. You will translate concepts into production drawings and collaborate across teams to meet costs and schedules.

The role requires strong CAD skills (AutoCAD, Inventor) and experience in risk assessments, tolerancing, and manufacturing-ready designs within a multi-skilled environment.

Qualifications

• HNC in electrical discipline is required.
• 2D CAD experience with AutoCAD; Elan (Rittal) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical design to meet specified requirements.
• Produce electrical designs from concept to issue drawings for production.
• Support projects to meet timescales and budget requirements.
• Utilise third party/supplier software for calculations.
• Follow company technical standards and manuals.
• Conduct risk assessments on machinery.
