Job summary
Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a Senior Electrical Systems Engineer for a manufacturing-focused role in Leatherhead. You will own electrical system design from concept through to production, crafting diagrams, wiring designs and selecting components while ensuring safety compliance.
You will test equipment, diagnose faults and collaborate with mechanical, software, manufacturing and supply-chain teams in a hands-on environment.
Qualifications
- Several years' electrical engineering experience.
- Experience designing electrical systems for automotive, industrial, transport or similar products.
- Experience testing equipment and diagnosing electrical faults.
- Confident working with suppliers and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Based in or within a commutable distance of Leatherhead, Surrey.
Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems from concept to production.
- Create electrical diagrams and wiring designs.
- Select components for electrical assemblies.
- Test equipment and investigate faults.
- Ensure designs meet relevant safety standards.
- Collaborate with mechanical, software, manufacturing and supply-chain teams.
- Provide technical guidance to other engineers.
