Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our Building Services team in Liverpool or London. You will lead electrical design delivery on large, complex projects and help shape design standards.

You will collaborate with clients, architects, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver sustainable, compliant, and cost-effective solutions from concept through construction. The role offers a dynamic environment with opportunities to mentor colleagues.

Qualifications

Degree-qualified Electrical Building Services Engineer or Electrical Engineer with CIBSE or IET membership.
Chartered Engineer or working towards chartered status.
Experience delivering electrical design solutions for large, complex projects.
Excellent communication skills.
Able to pass BPSS security checks.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical design delivery within the Building Services team.
Ensure design solutions comply with building codes, regulations and Kier Design standards.
Collaborate with clients, architects, contractors and stakeholders for effective coordination.
Promote sustainable design solutions and drive innovation across high-value projects.
