Job summary

Logistex in the United Kingdom seeks a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join the Electrical Design team and deliver high-quality electrical concepts for automated warehouse systems. You will design, document, and optimize electrical solutions using industry-standard tools.

The role requires strong CAD skills (EPlan, AutoCAD), hands-on calculations, and a solid understanding of automation equipment, safety standards, and project coordination with engineering and service teams.

Qualifications

Formal qualification in electrical engineering; degree preferred.
High competence in electrical design, including calculations and CAD drawings.
Solid understanding of automation equipment.
Knowledge of 18th Edition, EN60204, 13849 and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Produce high quality electrical designs meeting project requirements.
Produce electrical solutions using EPlan and AutoCAD for installation and service teams.
Produce safety solutions and power calculations to support the overall design.
Produce technical documentation to support other departments in execution.
Coordinate electrical, control and mechanical requirements with Project Engineering for integrated design.
