The Project

Design electrical systems to concept stage, meeting business, statutory, legal, and contractual requirements for government programs. The role includes technical assurance management to ensure design principles are maintained by contractors through development and construction phases. Responsibilities also include assisting the client with tender processes, condition surveys, and project handover.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of M/E/P systems to concept stage, ensuring compliance with legal and contractual requirements.
• Manage the design team and oversee deliverables.
• Act as a technical advisor and collaborate with clients, architects, and construction teams.
• Support tender processes, condition surveys, and project handover.
• Develop and mentor team members, focusing on areas like C2P, digital, and net zero carbon strategies.

Minimum Requirements

• Knowledge of statutory regulations and standards.
• Technical competence in all MEP systems.
• Relevant industry qualifications and chartered status.
• Experience in client-facing technical advisory roles.
• Proficiency in Revit and Office 365.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Degree qualified or equivalent, working towards chartership preferred.
