Job Description:

PE Global is recruiting a Senior Electrical Design Engineer for our oil and gas client on a contract basis based in Kintore, Aberdeenshire.

The salary for this role is £60,000 – £70,000 depending on experience.

This is a 2-year fixed contract.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Innovate, design, and develop customised, customer-centric electrical solutions using advanced CAE tools.
• Lead and execute design projects, including cost estimates, validation, and compliance documentation, ensuring delivery within budget and to client specifications.
• Provide expert technical support across departments and regions, including on-site installation, testing, and client meetings globally.

Education and Experience:

• Degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering – ensures foundational knowledge and expertise.
• Relevant experience in electrical design within the oil and gas or related engineering industries – demonstrates ability to perform in a similar role.
• Proficiency in CAE tools and engineering documentation standards – required for daily tasks and project execution.
• Strong understanding of industry-specific standards, regulations, and best practices – ensures compliance and operational excellence.
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, or electromechanical systems – beneficial for optimizing system design.
