• Connaissance approfondie des normes de documentation industrielle.

Responsibilities

• Concevoir des systèmes électriques innovants orientés client utilisant des outils CAE avancés.
• Diriger des projets de conception de la estimation des coûts à la documentation.
• Assurer la conformité aux normes pertinentes et soutenir l'excellence opérationnelle.

Base pay range

Kintore | 2-Year Fixed-Term Contract | £60,000 - £70,000 per annum

We’re hiring a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join a leading engineering site known for delivering cutting-edge wireline systems and wellhead pressure control equipment. This is a 2-year fixed-term contract, offering a rare opportunity to be part of a globally connected team working on high-specification, technically complex equipment.

You’ll play a key role in designing bespoke hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical systems, collaborating across multiple project phases from early-stage proposals to on-site commissioning. If you're passionate about detail-driven engineering and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this role could be your next challenge.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Designing innovative, customer-focused electrical systems using advanced CAE tools
• Leading design projects end-to-end, including cost estimates, testing, and documentation
• Providing technical support to internal teams and global clients—including occasional on-site visits
• Ensuring all work complies with relevant standards and supports operational excellence
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Degree (or equivalent experience) in Electrical Engineering
• Strong background in electrical design, ideally within oil & gas or a related sector
• Proficiency in CAE tools and familiarity with industry documentation standards
• In-depth knowledge of engineering regulations and compliance requirements
  
  

It Would Be Great If You Also Have

• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, or electromechanical systems
• Understanding of manufacturing technologies and design-for-manufacture principles
• Previous exposure to international, cross-functional project teams
