Senior Electrical Design Engineer

A leading specialist engineering company based in Grantham, providing solutions to the oil, gas, water and construction industries, has an immediate requirement for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Produce general arrangement drawings and schematic drawings for transformer rectifiers and switch-mode modules.
• Produce bill of materials.
• Create fabrication drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks (minimum 3 years experience with both).
• Liaise with clients and their representatives during witness FAT.
• Prepare test certificates and related documentation.
• Work with other technical drawings (GA’s, fabrication, etc.).
• Work with electrical schematic drawings.
• Meet project deadlines.
• Test remote monitoring systems.
• Create label drawings using AutoCAD.
• Assist in the test bay during busy manufacturing periods.

Requirements:

• Experience in electrical testing with single-phase and three-phase voltages (minimum 3 years).
• Strong MS Office skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks (minimum 3 years).
• Experience in control panel design (minimum 3 years).
• Knowledge of PCB design.
• Understanding of communication protocols (RS485, RJ45, serial, etc.).
• Formal electrical qualification.

Salary: Circa £42,000 with excellent benefits
