A company specialising in the design and manufacture of innovative, high-performance engineering solutions is looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to design and develop low-power electrical systems that support complex product designs.

You’ll lead design efforts, develop schematics, select components, and ensure adherence to standards. Collaborate with teams, review designs, and support production to deliver reliable, compliant solutions. Proficiency in electrical CAD tools and strong project experience are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead electrical design and troubleshoot projects.

Develop schematics, wiring, and BOMs.

Provide technical guidance across teams.

Validate designs through prototypes and testing.

Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and standards.

Manage component sourcing and documentation.

Support pre-sales with concept designs and technical reports.

Maintain data integrity and highlight technical risks.

The Candidate:

Proven electrical design expertise across diverse markets.

Experience with AC/DC systems, low voltage power, and communication circuits.

Skilled in electrical CAD software, preferably SolidWorks Electrical.

Capable of translating customer needs into manufacturable solutions.

Knowledge of design for manufacture, testing, and standards compliance.

Strong problem-solving and documentation skills.
