Jacobs is seeking an experienced EIA Consultant to join our Water & Environment team, working on major infrastructure, energy, and environmental projects across the UK and Ireland. You will influence early project decisions, navigate complex consents, and help deliver sustainable development.

This role offers hybrid working, a clear progression path, and the opportunity to work with leading clients like National Grid and Network Rail on nationally significant schemes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and environmental coordination for a range of clients.
• Knowledge of environmental assessment methodologies and UK environmental legislation.
• Experience working within UK planning and consenting frameworks, including Development Consent Orders (DCO), Transport and Works Act, Town & Country Planning, or similar regimes.
• This role requires commercial experience; not suitable for fresh graduates.

Responsabilités

• Engage in environmental assessment and consenting workstreams as part of multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide strategic advice to clients to deliver successful project outcomes.
• Contribute to delivery of projects from feasibility through consent, delivery and implementation.
