Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a Principal EIA Consultant to lead environmental teams across energy T&D infrastructure projects. You will work with technical environmental specialists and design teams to deliver EIA, planning applications, and related assessments.

You will manage bids, project delivery, and client relationships, while promoting sustainable design and best practice. The role demands Chartered IEMA or progress toward it, strong writing and communication skills, and a track

Qualifications

• A relevant environmental degree level qualification in EIA, or similar
• Progress toward Chartered Environmental Status and Full IEMA membership, or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental inputs to energy T&D projects, including EIA and planning applications
• Manage project delivery, budgeting, and quality control within multi-disciplinary teams
• Support bid development, client engagement, and strategic business growth
• Promote sustainable design and environmental enhancement across projects
• Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships and oversee risk management
