Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Senior Manager, EHSS for the Moreton site in the UK. The role owns end-to-end COSHH and safety programmes, leading culture, risk assessment, training, governance, and emergency planning in a regulated manufacturing environment.

You will drive cross-functional delivery with senior leadership, ensuring safety standards are robust, compliant, and continuously improved across the site.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of EHS experience in a regulated manufacturing/pharma environment
• Degree in EHS, Science, Engineering or related field
• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent Level 6 preferred, IOSH/IEMA/BOHS chartered or in progress
• Solid knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems
• Strong knowledge of UK health, safety and environmental legislation
• Proven incident investigation and corrective action experience
• Hands-on experience with EHSS management systems and training platforms
• Ability to influence culture and drive behavioural change across diverse audiences

Responsibilities

• Own COSHH compliance programme and chemical safety governance
• Lead Site Safety Culture initiatives and drive behavioural change
• Shape and govern site-wide risk assessment programme
• Own EHSS training framework and matrix and ensure delivery
• Govern EHSS procedures and SOPs to maintain current, compliant standards
• Develop and test Emergency Response Plans and continuous improvement
• Lead workplace inspections and embed safety standards site-wide
• Analyze EHSS data to identify trends and drive improvements
• Direct day-to-day EHSS leadership with the AD EHS and site team
