Job summary

Quaker Houghton in the United Kingdom is seeking a senior EHS professional to join the EMEA EHS team. The role is field-based, supporting 40+ sites across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Environmental, Health & Safety within industrial settings.
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 management systems.
• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent preferred; higher qualifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS technical expert across the UK scope, promoting safe working practices.
• Implement and enhance EHS programs, policies and risk-reduction initiatives.
• Lead investigations of incidents, near misses and hazard observations.
• Monitor EHS performance, leading indicators and lessons learned.
• Support EHS management systems, audits and training programs.
• Represent Quaker Houghton during audits and customer engagements.
