Quaker Houghton seeks an experienced EHS professional to support over 40 sites across the UK in a senior, field-based role. You will lead safety programs, drive CAPAs and investigations, and promote a strong safety culture while ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will work remotely with regular UK travel, partnering with HR, Operations and site leaders to sustain EHS excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Environmental, Health & Safety.
• Experience across multiple sites and locations.
• Practical experience auditing, inspections and investigations.
• Strong risk assessment knowledge (chemical risk & HAZOPs).
• Experience supporting ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems.
• Chemical industry or fluid management background advantageous.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• NEBOSH General Certificate or higher preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office/Teams and EHS software.

Responsabilités

• Act as lead EHS technical expert across UK sites and customers.
• Implement and enhance EHS programs, policies and CAPA actions.
• Lead investigations of incidents, near misses, and hazards.
• Monitor EHS performance and leading indicators.
• Support EHS management systems and reporting.
• Provide guidance on health, hygiene and exposure management.
• Maintain ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 compliance across sites.
• Deliver EHS training and competency development.
