Job summary

Square One Resources is seeking a Senior eFront Consultant to be seconded into a large multi-strategy PE manager in Birmingham on a hybrid basis. You will lead client-side migration and change activities, guiding stakeholders and applying deep eFront knowledge.

Role focuses on functional consulting and change, not hands-on development; expect a 3-month contract with potential extension to 6 months.

Qualifications

• Strong eFront functional/consulting experience.
• Consulting background, ideally progressed from PM/PMO, business analysis or fund operations.
• Private markets fund administration migration or onboarding experience, with an accounting focus.
• Working knowledge of eFront and the calculation engine, with the ability to troubleshoot migration issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead client-side migration and change activity for eFront implementation.
• Coordinate with PM and stakeholders across all parties to drive resolution of issues.
• This is a functional consulting/change role; engineering teams handle the technical migration.

We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for a skilled Senior eFront Consultant to join their client in Birmingham on a hybrid basis.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

We require an experienced eFront functional consultant to be seconded into a large multi-strategy PE manager that is moving from its incumbent administrator.
Working alongside the PM, this person will take a client-side lead role across the migration and change activity, managing stakeholders across all three parties and using their eFront knowledge to understand the impact on the calculation engine, troubleshoot issues and drive resolution.
This is a functional consulting and change role rather than a hands-on technical build; engineering teams will handle the technical migration.

Required Skills/Experience

• Strong eFront functional/consulting experience
• Consulting background, ideally progressed from PM/PMO, business analysis or fund operations
• Private markets fund administration migration or onboarding experience, with an accounting focus
• Working knowledge of eFront and the calculation engine, with the ability to troubleshoot migration issues
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing skills
• Confident managing sensitive conversations, including with the incumbent administrator
• Self-directed and able to drive tasks and raise issues without day-to-day oversight

Desirable Skills/Experience

• Administrator transitions for PE managers, including fund-of-funds and direct funds
• Exposure to investor/regulatory notification activity during a transition
• Previous experience delivering eFront-led change or migration programmes
