For this position, you will work with our clients on international assignments. The role is fully remote and open to candidates worldwide. Due to client and team collaboration requirements, preference will be given to candidates whose working hours are aligned with CET/CEST to CET/CEST+2.

Your responsibilities

As part of a range of transformation and implementation projects within Private Equity and Alternative Investments, your main responsibilities will include:

• Gather, structure and prioritise business requirements with finance, accounting and operational stakeholders.
• Analyse and model business processes and translate complex requirements into clear and detailed functional specifications.
• Configure and parametrise eFront Invest, with particular responsibility for its accounting functionalities and modules, in close collaboration with technical and business teams.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in accounting and in the use and configuration of eFront accounting modules, providing functional guidance to clients and project teams.
• Support accounting-related design decisions, configuration, testing and issue resolution throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Lead workshops with business users and facilitate communication between accounting, operations and technical teams.
• Manage functional testing and UAT, ensuring that the implemented solution meets agreed business and accounting requirements.
• Support change management, knowledge transfer and user adoption.

Your profile

You hold a Master's degree or equivalent qualification in finance, accounting, business, engineering or a related field, and have developed strong expertise within Private Equity, Alternative Investments or investment management.

We are looking for a confirmed Subject Matter Expert in accounting, with strong practical knowledge of accounting principles and processes within an investment-management environment.

You must also demonstrate confirmed hands-on expertise with BlackRock eFront, particularly in the use and functional configuration of its accounting modules. You should be comfortable independently analysing accounting requirements, translating them into eFront configuration and supporting users throughout implementation, testing and production-related issues.

You combine strong functional expertise with the ability to translate complex business and accounting requirements into clear, structured solutions. You are delivery-oriented, rigorous and comfortable working independently in a fully remote, international environment.

Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills are essential, as is the ability to work effectively across business, accounting and technical teams. Professional fluency in English is required.

This role offers the opportunity to become a key functional expert on international eFront projects and progressively take ownership of larger functional workstreams.

Depending on your interests and expertise, you may evolve towards a Lead Functional Consultant, Product Owner, Accounting/eFront Solution Expert or Project Lead role, while broadening your exposure to other eFront modules and alternative-investment solutions.
