Job summary

University of Nottingham invites applications for a part-time, fixed-term Academic and Professional Tutor on the DAEP. You will contribute to course management, module planning, tutorials, supervision of placements and research projects, and trainee assessment.

The role requires HCPC-registered Educational Psychologists and may include a Doctoral qualification. The post is for two days per week, 14.5 hours, until 30 April 2027, with potential extension subject to funding.

Qualifications

• Must be a fully qualified educational psychologist with HCPC registration.
• Desirable to hold a Doctoral qualification in Educational Psychology.
• Ability to carry out senior management responsibilities within the programme.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to all aspects of the DAEP professional training programme.
• Manage course development, module planning and delivery, and supervision of placements and research projects.
• Provide induction and mentoring for each aspect of the role and assess trainee performance.
