Zusammenfassung

North Somerset Council is seeking a Senior Educational Psychologist to join its Educational Psychology Service on a permanent, full-time basis. You will lead a locality hub, provide professional leadership within a multidisciplinary team, and drive recruitment, induction and CPD across the EP service.

You will also shape EP practice across the service, support workforce development, and maintain hands-on practice with link-school work and statutory duties.

Qualifikationen

• HCPC registration as an educational psychologist
• Experience leading an Educational Psychology Service
• Experience delivering high-quality psychological services including statutory work
• Strong knowledge of SEND, safeguarding legislation and policy
• Ability to manage competing priorities and statutory timelines

Aufgaben

• Lead one Experts at Hand locality hub and provide EP professional leadership
• Lead recruitment, induction, supervision and CPD across the EP team
• Line manage EPs and Support Team Leader
• Manage statutory work allocation and EHC timelines
• Support development of Tier 1 and post-16 offers
• Maintain own EP practice and contribute to service planning and evaluation
