Job summary

Pet Drugs Online, part of IVC Evidensia, is seeking a Senior eCommerce Merchandiser to drive online sales through effective onsite merchandising and optimisation. This hands-on role focuses on conversion, product presentation, and customer experience, collaborating with Marketing, Commercial, SEO, and Content teams.

The successful candidate will be highly analytical, comfortable using analytics tools, and adept at data-driven decision making to improve visibility, journeys, and revenue.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an eCommerce merchandising or online trading role.
• Strong understanding of ecommerce KPIs (conversion, revenue, AOV).
• Highly analytical with data-driven insights.
• Experience with web analytics tools like Google Analytics or ContentSquare.
• Experience with ecommerce platforms, PIM systems, or CMS tools.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day onsite merchandising of products, categories and promotions.
• Execute product listing, categorisation, navigation and search merchandising.
• Monitor site performance and identify opportunities to improve visibility and conversions.
• Use web analytics and customer insights to optimise merchandising.
• Maintain product data quality, including attributes, imagery, and content.
• Plan and implement promotional campaigns and trading events.
• Conduct regular audits of listings and site content for quality.
• Collaborate with SEO, PPC, Content, Commercial, and supplier teams.
• Support optimisation of onsite search, filtering, and product recommendations.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers for product information and assets.
• Produce regular performance reporting and data-driven recommendations.
• Contribute to merchandising process improvements.
