Job summary

Pets at Home is seeking an Ecommerce Trading Executive to support digital sales performance across assigned categories. You will work with the Ecommerce Trading Manager and cross-functional teams to execute the online trading plan, ensuring products, content and promotions deliver strong commercial results and an exceptional customer experience.

You will use analytics to understand the customer journey, optimise navigation, and deliver trading insights.

Qualifications

2–4 years of experience in ecommerce, digital trading or online merchandising.
Strong commercial awareness and understanding of trading levers.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Google Analytics or Power BI preferred.
Detail-oriented with a passion for online retail and customer experience.
Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

Use analytics tools to understand the full customer journey from entry to checkout.
Continuously optimise the customer journey to boost conversion and sales.
Own and develop category taxonomy, filters and facets for new launches and trends.
Analyse and improve onsite search functionality for better discoverability.
Collaborate with campaign/content teams to optimise landing pages and promotions.
Monitor performance and provide actionable insights from daily/weekly data.
Produce trading reports using Power BI and Google Analytics.
