Penguin Recruitment in Norwich is seeking an experienced Principal Ecologist to join a growing environmental consultancy. The role leads a diverse range of ecological projects, provides technical advice to clients, and mentors junior colleagues.

You will oversee surveys and reports, manage client relationships, contribute to tenders and proposals, and support business development. A relevant ecology/environmental degree and significant consultancy experience are required.

Qualifications

• Relevant ecology/environmental degree or equivalent experience.
• Significant experience within ecological consultancy.
• Strong project management and technical report-writing experience.
• Experience providing ecological advice to clients.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work.
• Full right to work in the UK.
• Be living in or within a commutable distance of Norwich.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
