Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Ecologist to join a leading environmental consultancy in Bristol. You will manage ecological projects from inception to completion, including protected species surveys and technical reporting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science or related discipline.
• Previous experience in an ecological consultancy.
• Strong protected species survey and assessment experience.
• Experience producing ecological reports and technical documentation.
• Good understanding of UK wildlife legislation and planning policy.
• BNG and/or habitat assessment experience.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Full right to work in the UK.
• Within commutable distance of Bristol.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver ecological projects from inception through to completion.
• Undertake and oversee protected species surveys and produce technical reports.
• Provide ecological advice to clients and support project teams.
