Job summary

isepglobal, Warrington, is seeking a Senior Ecologist to lead projects, guide junior team members, and contribute to high-quality environmental outcomes. You will work on residential, infrastructure, renewable energy, and conservation projects, coordinating surveys, reporting, licensing, and stakeholder engagement.

The role emphasizes clear ecological advice to clients and strong knowledge of UK wildlife policy, with hybrid and flexible working options and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Degree in ecology or related subject.
• Significant experience in ecological consultancy.
• Strong field skills across habitat and species surveys.
• Ideally a protected species licence (e.g., bats, great crested newts).
• Excellent report writing and timely outputs.
• Solid understanding of UK wildlife legislation and planning policy.
• Experience in project management and client liaison.
• Full CIEEM membership (or eligibility).
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
