Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a Senior Ecologist to join our Nature Services team. You’ll work with a network of specialists on a diverse range of projects across Scotland and Ireland, supporting project delivery and growth within the team.

You will be part of an environment that values learning, collaboration and professional development, with opportunities to mentor junior staff and contribute to wider initiatives across the network.

Qualifications

• Academic qualification in ecology or related subject.
• Full membership of CIEEM or eligible to apply.
• Experience planning and undertaking ecology desk-based and field surveys in the UK and producing robust reports.

Responsibilities

• Plan and undertake ecology surveys including Phase 1/UKHab and protected species surveys.
• Prepare ecological deliverables such as Preliminary Ecological Appraisals and Ecological Impact Assessments.
• Undertake client liaison and project management.
