We have a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Senior Ecologist to join our Energy Transition & Sustainability (ET&S) team. With shared office space in Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Perth, we welcome applications from Senior Ecologists across Scotland.
This role involves supporting ecology-related activities on various road contracts in Scotland, including the South West Network Management Contract for Transport Scotland, active travel schemes (e.g., AMIDS Renfrewshire), and the North Angus Growth Opportunity. As a Senior Ecologist, you will support team development in Scotland, potentially leading on ecology-specific business development opportunities.
Our Ecologists play a vital role within the ET&S team and in collaboration with clients. As a Senior Ecologist, you will support Ecology leads on various schemes, lead projects, and mentor junior Ecologists.
You will also provide ecological support to regional and national projects across sectors like highways, rail, local authorities, central government, aviation, and waste.
