Job summary

Barts Health NHS Trust is seeking a Band 7 Chief Cardiac Physiologist in Echocardiography to join the Cardiac Physiology team. The role involves working across The Royal London Hospital and Newham Hospital, with exposure to a broad range of cardiac pathologies and advanced imaging pathways.

The post includes a weekend service commitment and opportunities to develop leadership skills within a renowned echocardiography department accredited by BSE and EACVI.

Qualifications

• UK NHS Band 7 level leadership and senior echocardiography experience will be advantageous.
• Experience in complex echocardiographic assessment and specialist imaging pathways is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Rotate between Royal London Hospital and Newham Hospital to cover non-invasive Cardiac Diagnostics.
• Participate in the weekend service with either 10 full weekends or 15 weekends per year.
• Supervise, train, and support staff in performing their roles within the Echocardiography Department.
