Job summary

Barts Health NHS Trust is recruiting an Echocardiographer to join the Cardiac Physiology team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role involves working across The Royal London Hospital and Newham Hospital, with weekend service commitments and rotation between sites.

You will perform unsupervised complex echocardiography, support senior staff, and participate in training and supervision of the team as part of a busy non-invasive Cardiac Diagnostics department.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Echocardiographer in non-invasive cardiac diagnostics.
• Ability to supervise and train staff.
• Willingness to work weekend rotations and rotate between Royal London Hospital and Newham Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Perform unsupervised complex-level echocardiography tasks.
• Assist senior staff and cover weekend NHS service.
