Job summary

JBS Global Resourcing represents a multinational energy company recruiting an experienced Electrical, Control and Instrumentation (EC&I) Maintenance Engineer for Enfield. The role leads the maintenance team, delivering preventative and corrective EC&I tasks across the plant.

The position is senior, focusing on safety, quality, and continuous improvement, with budget responsibility and technical leadership for engineers and technicians.

Qualifications

• HNC or NVQ3 in electrical engineering or related discipline is required.
• Industrial EC&I maintenance experience is required.
• Broad understanding of power-station operations or similar environments.
• Strong knowledge of EC&I maintenance across multiple plant areas.
• IOSH qualification or equivalent preferred.
• Strong planning and organisational skills and ability to lead.

Responsibilities

• Deliver preventative and corrective EC&I maintenance safely and to required quality standards.
• Manage delivery of preventative EC&I maintenance according to strategy and plans.
• Manage corrective maintenance within risk-based timescales.
• Maintain and improve electrical, control and instrumentation equipment and systems.
• Provide technical support for fault-finding, diagnostics and problem-solving.
• Contribute to FRACAS and continuous improvement of maintenance systems.
• Develop and manage budget for EC&I maintenance area.
• Improve safety performance through audits of work-control processes.
• Design and deliver low- and medium-risk technical improvement projects.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers and maintenance staff.
