Job summary

Assystem in Whitehaven is seeking a Senior EC&I Engineer to join our established nuclear engineering team. You will support design delivery, produce electrical services design work packages, and ensure compliance with time, cost and quality targets across projects.

The role requires proven EC&I experience, strong teamwork and communication skills, and a degree in a relevant discipline. UK national security clearance is required for the role.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in building electrical services design.
• Proficiency in CDM Regulation application.
• Expertise in space management, cable routing, and cable management.
• Strong team player with the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• To support the EC&I RE and Area Engineering Manager in the delivery of design.
• To produce engineering design work packages (specification, drawing, analysis, verification or assessment of engineering).
• Satisfy the legal and functional requirements along with the associated performance conditions to the agreed time, cost and quality.
