Job summary

Assystem in Whitehaven is seeking an EC&I Engineer for a permanent or contractor role. You will produce high-quality engineering design work packages and ensure designs meet legal, regulatory, and performance requirements.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, compliant solutions and produce buildable design documentation. The role requires experience in CE&I project delivery, electrical services design, and application of CDM and IET Wiring Regulations.

Qualifications

• Significant demonstrable experience in CE&I Project Delivery.
• Experience in the design delivery of building electrical services.
• Competent in the application of CDM Regulations.
• Competent in the application of IET Wiring Regulations.
• Experience of space management, cable routing, and cable management.
• Ability to work both as part of an integrated delivery team and independently under tight deadlines.
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all levels.
• Degree qualified in an appropriate discipline.
• Experience with Radiometric Systems.
• Experience with Machinery Safety Regulations and BS EN 13849.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality engineering design work packages, including specifications, drawings, calculations, analyses, assessments, and verification documentation.
• Deliver designs that meet legal, regulatory, functional, and performance requirements.
• Ensure design outputs are completed on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop safe, compliant engineering solutions.
• Support delivery of projects by producing clear, accurate buildable design documentation.
