Job summary

Heidelberg Materials AG in Purfleet seeks an experienced Electrical EC&I Engineer to lead electrical, control and instrumentation improvements across the site. You will own projects, influence investments and shape engineering standards to improve safety, reliability and performance.

You will work with operations, maintenance and project teams to deliver upgrades from concept through commissioning, mentor technicians, and drive energy efficiency and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Experience leading electrical, control and instrumentation improvements.
• Experience operating 110V–11kV distribution systems including LV/MCCs/HV equipment.
• Site HV Senior Authorised Person (SAP) capability or readiness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead significant electrical, control and instrumentation improvements.
• Deliver plant upgrades and engineering projects from concept through to commissioning.
• Manage contractors, budgets and critical spare parts.
• Support and develop EC&I technicians.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
