Job summary
Heidelberg Materials UK is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to maximise reliability of plant and equipment. You will join a skilled team, performing planned and reactive electrical work in a busy industrial site to keep operations safe and efficient.
The role involves fault finding, commissioning of projects, and upholding health and safety standards, with occasional weekend/night work. A recognised electrical qualification is essential.
Qualifications
- Recognised electrical qualification.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic experience in industrial settings.
- Computer literacy and maintenance management systems experience.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Independent working capability and sound technical decisions.
- Flexible hours per operational needs.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose faults and repair plant electrical systems.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to maximise reliability.
- Support inspections, shutdowns, and improvement projects.
- Assist with capital projects commissioning.
- Maintain safety compliance and document activities.
- Collaborate with supervisors and operations on technical matters.
- Contribute to spare parts planning.
- Record maintenance in SAP PM and similar systems.
- Occasional weekend/night shifts for planned or emergency work.
