Key duties include installation, testing, client liaison on site, and delivering precise engineering reporting. Strong background in earthing and a valid driving licence are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Must be a self-starting and diligent problem solver able to work individually or in a team.
• Excellent customer facing skills and self-presentation.
• Must hold a clean driving licence.
• Proven background in an Earthing / Lightning Protection Installation, Service or Maintenance role.
• GCSE or ‘O' Level in English Language, Mathematics and a Science Subject.

Responsibilities

• Install and test earthing systems to LV/HV/GIS facilities and related sites.
• Install lightning protection systems for various building types.
• Liaise with clients on site and resolve design issues with architects and managers.
• Ensure works are carried out safely, diligently and timely.
• Provide training to other engineers and staff when required.
• Complete engineering reports and record site data.
