Job summary

Stockingford Nursery School is seeking an experienced Early Years educator to join our friendly team as a key person for a group of 2–4-year-olds. You will support learning alongside nursery teachers and liaise closely with families to ensure every child has the best possible start.

The post is permanent, 37 hours per week, term-time only, with start from 2 November 2026 (subject to safer recruitment checks).

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children aged 2-4 years is required.
• Understanding and compliance with Nursery policies and safeguarding procedures is essential.

Responsibilities

• Be a key person for a group of children and support their learning alongside Nursery Teachers.
• Liaise closely with families to ensure the children have the best possible start to their educational journey.
• Support across classrooms for 2–4-year-olds during term time.
