St George’s Nursery Group in the East Midlands is seeking a Deputy Manager with a track record of leadership in an Early Years setting. You will support the Nursery Manager, lead staff, uphold safeguarding standards and ensure EYFS and Ofsted compliance.

This role offers a clear path to Nursery Manager and requires a Level 3 Early Years qualification with strong communication and organisational skills. A supportive, award-winning nursery group awaits your leadership.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above.
• Leadership experience within an Early Years setting.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Support the Nursery Manager with the day-to-day running of the nursery.
• Lead, motivate and develop the team.
• Maintain high standards of care, learning and safeguarding.
• Ensure EYFS, Ofsted and nursery requirements are met.
• Take responsibility for the nursery in the Manager’s absence.
