Job summary

St. George’s Nursery is seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to join our award-winning team. Working with the Nursery Manager, you’ll help lead the team, maintain high standards of care, learning and safeguarding, and ensure EYFS and Ofsted compliance.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above.
• Leadership experience within an Early Years setting.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A positive, supportive leadership style.
• Passion for Early Years and a desire to progress your career.

Responsibilities

• Support the Nursery Manager with the day-to-day running of the nursery.
• Lead, motivate and develop the team.
• Maintain high standards of care, learning and safeguarding.
• Ensure EYFS, Ofsted and nursery requirements are met.
• Take responsibility for the nursery in the Manager’s absence.

Education
