Job summary

Matchtech is seeking a Senior Technologist to support the development of next-generation vaping products through formulation, manufacture and evaluation of e-liquid products.

The role involves preparing formulations, supporting development activities, and ensuring products meet quality and safety standards while contributing to data analysis, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proven laboratory experience with sample preparation, testing and analysis.
• Experience handling raw materials and small-scale batch manufacturing.
• Strong planning, organisation and prioritisation in fast-paced settings.
• Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintaining accurate experimental records and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manufacture e-liquid formulations to support product development.
• Produce laboratory-scale batches and keep precise manufacturing records.
• Plan and manage multiple formulation requests to meet project timelines.
• Perform quality testing and analytical assessments using standard lab techniques.
• Analyse data and support technical decision-making for product approvals.
• Collaborate with scientists, developers and stakeholders to meet objectives.
• Maintain laboratory safety, quality and environmental compliance.
• Handle hazardous materials per regulatory and company requirements.
• Support consumer testing and sample preparation for evaluation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement across formulation development and lab practices.
• Participate in risk assessments and promote PPE and safe working practices.
