Job description

Our client is a global consultancy specializing in renewable energy, particularly wind and solar projects. In the UK, the firm provides technical and financial due diligence, project management, and advisory services to investors, developers, and operators in the offshore wind sector. Their expertise covers feasibility studies, risk assessment, and performance optimization to support successful renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Consultant in Due Diligence, you will play a key role in a dynamic and highly skilled team, engaging with clients and projects across the globe. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver due diligence services and support to clients, with a focus on EMEA, the US, and Asia.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Contributing as a key member of the technical due diligence team, offering expert insights and guidance to clients.

  • Managing onshore and offshore wind projects, overseeing project execution, advising clients, and delivering clear, high-quality written and verbal recommendations.

  • Conducting in-depth analysis and assessments of renewable energy projects, including technical reviews, evaluation of key project agreements, and validation of financial model assumptions.

  • Collaborating with global colleagues and technical specialists, leveraging expertise from across the organization to deliver optimal solutions for clients.

  • Leading or participating in client meetings and conference calls, engaging with financial and legal advisors.

  • Traveling for site visits and client engagements, primarily within Europe, with opportunities for global assignments.

  • Supporting business development and sales initiatives as needed.

This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects while collaborating with industry experts to drive successful renewable energy investments.

About you:
  • Self-driven and comfortable working as part of a remote team.

  • Confident in independently managing clients and project assignments.

  • 5–10 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, specifically in onshore and/or offshore wind, with familiarity in due diligence and LTA assignments preferred.

  • Proven ability to manage projects effectively, even under tight deadlines and budget constraints.

  • Experience working in and coordinating multi-disciplinary engineering teams.

  • Exceptional written English, with the ability to clearly communicate and simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.

  • Flexible and solution-oriented, always prioritizing the best interests of clients, the team, and the company.

  • Strong diplomatic skills, integrity, and cultural awareness, essential for thriving in a diverse, ethical, and international work environment.
